Practical
Practical Outreaches are one of the greatest ways of interacting with the community you are trying to reach spiritually.
This is where you are working with the local communities to help them as well as train them in different areas.
These areas maybe Building maintenance & construction, Water reticulation, Generator repairs & maintenance, Power distribution, Small engine repairs & maintenance, Drainage, Civil works, Planting etc.
Christian Maritime Missions develops outreaches through churches and other Christian Ministries. These outreaches are from different churches or ministries, coming together as one body reaching out to many communities.
Contact us and let us formulate an outreach that will suit your vision.
Non Christian
Christian Maritime Missions is also open to non Christians. We believe that there is a need for non Christians to be able to participate in outreaches. With the vast amount of skills that all have to offer, these can be put to great use in the areas that this Ministry reaches out to. We will be looking for builders, carpenters electricians, civil engineers etc to come together and help in the development with these communities.
Christian Maritime Missions will be working with service organisations such as Lions, Rotary, VSO and other NGO's to develop practical outreaches. If you or your organisation would like to participate in developing an outreach then please Contact us
Disaster Relief
We all know that disasters happen. It is never a good time for any sort of disaster and we are also never prepared for what could happen.
In the event of a natural disaster the need of response becomes very great and is required very quickly. Usually the local emergency services are put out of action or are in a state of shock. Fresh water, Medical attention and Shelter are in general the first requirements in a disaster. Our ships will be fitted out for Disaster Relief operations. The ships will have water production facilities onboard to produce high volume drinking water.
Medical facilities will be onboard the ship as well as portable clinics that can be deployed to where the need is.
Temporary shelters will be deployed from the ship to house those affected.

Christian Maritime Missions would like to build a database of people from all nations from different trades and backgrounds who are willing to volunteer their time at short notice to join the ship(s) in the event of a Disaster occurring that this Ministry can reach.
