The Ministry will be conducting various activities from "Christian Development" (CDS) Schools to Maritime Officer Training Schools and Outreaches to Micro - Enterprise development. It is intended that this Ministry will work with other Ministries, and NGO/NPO's for the development and support of each other. All of the Schools and Outreaches will be based from the ship(s) and will form part of the collective Ministry of this organization. It is also intended to work in conjunction with other Christian training academy or college to supply internationally recognized qualifications or diplomas. The Schools will comprise of: Christian Development School (CDS) Cross Cultural Development School (CCDS) Missionary Training English Speaking Language (ESL) As there is a world wide shortage of Maritime Officers in general within the commercial maritime sector, it is intended to train Christian men and woman for service in the maritime industry. Cadets will be able to train in: Marine Engineering Deck Officer Navigation Ship Management Outreaches Outreaches to the communities that we serve will be: Evangelical Church Planting Medical Ophthalmic Dental Optometry Primary Health Care Practical Building Construction & Maintenance Power Generator Maintenance Power & Water Reticulation Small Engine Maintenance Other outreaches will include: Inter-Church Outreaches Youth Other Christian Ministries Service Organization (Rotary, Lions etc) Micro-Enterprise Development: Many coastal areas have great natural resources that are not developed due to the costs of getting their products to the market place and the lack of support for the development of various industries. In most cases, it is not profitable for commercial transport operators to support these isolated island and coastal communities as their products would not be competitive on the open market. CMMissions intend to help these communities develop products for sale in a competitive market by operating a small coastal freighter to take the products to the market place. This vessel will also be used to deploy and support outreaches, train Maritime Officers and be setup for Disaster relief support. Disaster Relief All of the Ministry ships will be setup for "Emergency Disaster Relief" It is intended to have a contingent of volunteers willing and available to meet the ship at short notice in times of a natural disaster for the purpose of supplying: Medical Support Building & Construction Water and Sanitation etc For this we will need volunteers in the following fields: Doctors & Nurses (OR,Surgical & General) Builders, Electricians, Plumbers/Drainlayers Civil Engineers, Water and Sanitation Engineers Support in all ares of this Ministry is required.
