One of the greatest physical needs within any Isolated Island and Coastal community is the regular Medical attention that is required. The distance to the nearest clinic or hospital is quite often far away and requires a great deal of travel and expense. Regular check-ups or minor ailments go unattended and quite often lead to greater problems.
CMMissions sees that need and as part of the ship will have a clinic where patients will be seen for Dental, Opthamalic, Optometry, and Primary Health Care. It is intended to work with the local Health Authorities to be able to carry out much required immunizations that are quite often missed due to the distance required to reach these communities.
All Medical professionals come from many different countries, who graciously volunteer their time to go on outreach with the ship for two to three weeks at a time. CMMissions will also be working with other Medical Ministries and organizations to supply the much needed medical requirements.

CMMissions will be conducting Dental clinics from both the ship as well as setting up portable clinics in the villages where we will be serving.These clinics will be carrying out fundamental dental work such as fillings, extractions, cleaning, dental hygene training.
The need for eye examinations and eye glasses are great. with the cost of new glasses and the lack of optometrists, there is also an ever increasing need for tests. By the handing in of used disused glasses to your optometrist, these can be re-graded and then distributed to those in need.
Again the happiness that is shown on the faces who receive their glasses and are able to read is great.

Eye Cataracts are an ever increasing problem throughout the world, with the depletion of the protective field around earth, the increase of harmful radiation to the eyes has meant that detection of Eye Cataracts in the regions where CMMissions will be operating often is very late and often the patient is blinded and at least unable to read.
These operations in the western world often cost several thousand dollars, where this Ministry will bring back the sight to many Free of charge. The joy of seeing sight recovered and being able to see someone read their Bible once again is great to see.

It is intended that this Ministry will work with the local health authorities to be able to support them in providing the primary health needs to the isolated communities that we will be reaching. This maybe in the form of the giving of immunisations and basic treatments for example scabies. Where there is no local clinics locally it is intended to hold screenings and report back to the authorities as to where and what types of treatments are required.
